OMG!!! The President Invited Black People To The White House!!!
The next time that someone tells you that Fox News is “Fair and Balanced” and has no political agenda, tell them about the Fox Nation headline titled, “Obama’s Hip-Hop BBQ Didn’t Create Jobs”. Just below the title there are photos of Charles Barkley, Chris Rock and Jay Z who attended the President’s 50th birthday celebration at the White House. Fox News found no need to mention any of the white celebrities (like Tom Hanks) who also attended the event.
As for the hip-hop? Not so much. The musical portion of the event included performances by the United States Marine Band (one of the most notorious hip-hop groups in the world), R&B singer Ledisi, Herbie Hancock and Stevie Wonder who performed “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours.” I’m sure those cop-hating musical artists were busy all night flashing their guns and throwing f-bombs like hand-grenades!
How dare President Barack Obama!

White Man’s Burden
While looking over Bachmann’s State Senate campaign Web site, I stumbled upon a list of book recommendations. The third book on the list, which appeared just before the Declaration of Independence and George Washington’s Farewell Address, is a 1997 biography of Robert E. Lee by J. Steven Wilkins.
Wilkins is the leading proponent of the theory that the South was an orthodox Christian nation unjustly attacked by the godless North. This revisionist take on the Civil War, known as the “theological war” thesis, had little resonance outside a small group of Southern historians until the mid-twentieth century, when Rushdoony and others began to popularize it in evangelical circles. In the book, Wilkins condemns “the radical abolitionists of New England” and writes that “most southerners strove to treat their slaves with respect and provide them with a sufficiency of goods for a comfortable, though—by modern standards—spare existence.”
African slaves brought to America, he argues, were essentially lucky: “Africa, like any other pagan country, was permeated by the cruelty and barbarism typical of unbelieving cultures.” Echoing Eidsmoe, Wilkins also approvingly cites Lee’s insistence that abolition could not come until “the sanctifying effects of Christianity” had time “to work in the black race and fit its people for freedom.”

New slogan: “Fox News Audience – On Target”
I’m reading an 60 year old book about the origins of jazz, and the author spends a lot of time on the slaves and their African origins…they were not pagans, they had organized societies, and very advanced music. Bachmann’s book sounds like it was used for that idiotic pledge she signed that said black kids were better off when their parents were slaves. Do any of these people have a brain that works, or are they all zombies come to take over the US?

I’ve been thinking for a while that all this is about the South wanting another shot at the Civil War, because they are sure that this time they will win. What they will win is not a concern. Winning (and keeping the US white and the wealthy wealthier) is the goal.
