Ron “007″ Paul Fears Goldfinger May Have Struck Again!!!

Before reading today’s blog post, please start the following video to set the mood:

It is beginning to look as if GOP Presidential candidate Ron Paul has been both “shaken” and “stirred”. Paul of course is the moonbat-crazy Republican congressman from Texas and father of the equally crazy Rand Paul, the newly elected Teapublican senator from Kentucky.

In earlier blog posts we have already highlighted some of the elder Paul’s ideas and characteristics such as:

He is known as “Dr. No” (Hmm, another James Bond reference) because of his insistence that he will “never vote for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution”;

- He advocates withdrawal from the United Nations, and from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO);

- He opposes birthright citizenship;

- He advocates for the elimination of the Federal Reserve;

- He would deny women their right of freedom of choice in birth; and

- He believes that the civil Rights act of 1964 is unconstitutional.

We have also previously printed some of Paul’s racist quotes as attributed to him in his very own newsletter such as:

- “Boy, it sure burns me to have a national holiday for that pro-communist philanderer Martin Luther King. I voted against this outrage time and time again as a Congressman. What an infamy that Ronald Reagan approved it! We can thank him for our annual Hate Whitey Day.”;

- “opinion polls consistently show only about 5% of blacks have sensible political opinions”;

- “if you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be.”.

OK then, it appears that we have confirmed Ron Paul’s radically eccentric bone fides. He did not need to do or say one more crazy thing to convince us that he is bonkers. But this is Ron Paul who we are talking about and he just cannot help himself.

On Friday we learned that just like secret agent James Bond in the 1964 film “Goldfinger“, Paul is worried that our nation’s gold supply might have gone missing from Fort Knox. Does he suspect super-villain Auric Goldfinger is involved? Who knows? But one thing is certain, CNN reports that Ron Paul called a congressional hearing Thursday to grill federal officials about his bill to audit and inventory all of the gold reserves at Fort Knox, Ky., West Point, N.Y., and Denver, even though Treasury officials insist that the gold is audited annually and is all there. Paul wants to open up Fort Knox and other reserves and count the bars manually.

Paul suggested that the Federal Reserve of New York, which has 5% of the U.S. gold reserves, has the ability to secretly sell or swap gold with other countries without anyone knowing. He said,

“The Fed is pretty secret, you know. Congress doesn’t have much say on what’s going on over there. They do a lot of hiding.”

In response, Treasury Inspector General Eric Thorson said, “We know where it is. We know how much there is. We know it’s there. None of it has been removed.”

Now what? Will Paul contact “Q” over at headquarters in the hope of acquiring some newfangled spy gadget so that he may surreptitiously enter Fort Knox and count the gold? Will he don a tuxedo? What kind of fancy sports-car will he drive? Will he encounter a vivacious double-agent? Someone please contact Sean Connery and find out if he is available for the big screen adaptation of this thriller!

TEA BAGGING MEN (RON PAUL VERSION)

(sung to the Billy Joel song “Piano Man”)

It’s nine o’clock on a Saturday
Rand Paul comes marching in
A proud member of the Tea Party
Like so many white racist men

He says, “Boy you know that I’m from Kentucky
And I think that Obama blows
It was sad and back-street how he chastised BP
Just because their damn oil rigs explode”

La la la, di da da
La la, di di da da dum

Sing us a song you Tea-Bagging men
Sing us a song tonight
Give us some patriotic imagery
Tri-corn hats and a wig that’s too tight

Now Sarah Palin is no friend of mine
Thank God she’s not the VP
Yes she looked like a dope every time she misspoke
As McCain claimed she was “mavericky”

She says, “Why does the press keep on grilling me?”
As her smile runs away from her face
“Can’t they see I’m a tabloid-bred superstar,
Though I quit my job in disgrace?”

Oh, la la la, di da da
La la, di da da da dum

Ron Paul is a right-wing apologist
He is anti-gay and pro-life
Grasp of history’s hazy and he’s moon-bat crazy
Ron Paul should be confined for life

And Scott Walker’s union-busting politics
Sparked a recall to get him de-throned
While Mike Huckabee thinks his “down-hominess”
Will coax liberals to leave him alone

Sing us a song you Tea-Bagging men
Sing us a song tonight
Give us some patriotic imagery
Tri-corn hats and a wig that’s too tight

Had a pretty big crowd just last Saturday
With the Tea Baggers dressed in high style
They were at a rally with signs misspelled badly
To express ignorance all the while

And the town common, it looks like a carnival
With the Tea Baggers from far and near
They unload from their cars lots of feathers and tar
As they fan flames of hatred and fear!

Oh, la la la, di da da
La la, di da da da dum

Sing us your song you Tea Bagging men
Sing us your song tonight
Cuz we’re all in the mood for a melody
Sung by folks that are old, dumb and white

(fade into extinction)

  1. “Paul of course is the moonbat-crazy Republican congressman from Texas…”

    Silly blogger! Liberals are moonbats; crazy right-wingers are batshit!

    • Bill Maher commenting on Bristol’s latest literary ‘achievement’

      “the shit doesn’t fall far from the bat” :)

  2. Yes Man

    Dr. Paul might not have a firm grasp of economics (he’s from Texas) but even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then.

    He’s absolutely right in his insistence that;
    neo-cons shouldn’t be allowed to put our great nation into bankruptcy
    we could probably save Medicare just by easing our failed war on drugs

    Since President Nixon declared ‘Big Gubmint war on drugs’ four decades ago, this failed policy has led to millions of arrests, overflowing prisons, a trillion dollars spent and countless lives lost, yet drugs today are more available than ever– here, not just in Afghanistan.

  3. War on Women

    Although Paul seems more Big Gubmint Authoritarian than Libertarian when it comes to women’s rights, he doesn’t seem quite as hypocritical as most gay-bashing social conservatives.

    “The mix of power, money and fame is noxious. When you add in that you are the voice of God on top of it, it’s the most toxic mix you can imagine.”

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2011/06/24/frank-schaeffer-talks-about-his-new-book-sex-mom-and-god.html

  4. The GOP, as usual, is doing the opposite of what they say. They got the lowest taxes in fifty years, but they appear to want zero taxes…no government revenue needed for the trillion dollar wars we’re fighting with their full approval.
    They pretend that they value women, yet each and every one of them is trying to end all abortion (yeah, that worked so well in the 40′s and 50′s) and even end contraception. In a world that is already overpopulated, they want a bunch of Dooger families on welfare, I guess. They can’t ALL have TV shows to pay the bills. Meanwhile, they are demonizing teachers (women again) and all public employees, because I guess the fire dept. and the police dept. aren’t needed when everyone has multiple firearms available to them. Can you say Columbia? Oh, and they hate the elderly too, and hungry children…now who was it that was going to kill Grandma again? My God, if this country doesn’t stop this nonsense (including the torture loving-Petraus CIA nomination!) we are all going to be dead, or wish we were.

  5. Love these ad hominum responses. Which is why it will not be a difficult transition for me if and when a revolution breaks out. Now lets review what you said:

    - He advocates withdrawal from the United Nations, and from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO);

    RESPONSE: Even the NATO commanders realize that it is an organization whose mission is no longer valid. It still is learning to redefine itself since the fall of the Soviet Union. If you think the U.S. can continue being the world’s policeman on borrowed Chinese money then please explain to your kids, if you have any, why they have to pay so much in taxes to pay off the debt of the mistakes of past generations.

    - He opposes birthright citizenship;

    RESPONSE: So, you think it is OK for anyone to come here illegally, have a baby, claim citizenship for the baby, then secondarily claim citizenship for the parents, grandparents, uncles, siblings. And of course, all of those individuals would be self sustaining and not utilizing any public assistance, right? Get real or get rich and donate your own money to such non self sustaining causes. Many countries in the world do not grant birthright citizenship.

    - He advocates for the elimination of the Federal Reserve;

    RESPONSE: And your point is? How “Federal” do you think the Federal Reserve is? Its not. You are obviously ignorant about its inception. Woodrow Wilson noted that the passing of power to the Federal Reserve Act:

    “I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated Governments in the civilized world no longer a Government by free opinion, no longer a Government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a Government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.” -Woodrow Wilson, after signing the Federal Reserve into existence

    - He would deny women their right of freedom of choice in birth; and

    RESPONSE: Wrong again. He does not think that taxpayer funds should be used for payments for abortion. While he personally opposes abortion he does not think it is the government’s business to tell a woman whether or not to have an abortion. Now lets see, birth control costs about 50 cents or less for a condom. The pill costs less that recurrent abortions as a means of birth control. Freedom without responsibility coupled with financially enabling by legal plunder is not sustainable.

    - He believes that the civil Rights act of 1964 is unconstitutional.

    RESPONSE: I have followed him closely for years and have never heard or seen him say any such documented remark. It is a big Act. Which portion are you specifically referring to? I haven’t read it in its entirety. Perhaps, you are referring to racial quotas which are simply legalized discrimination. What Dr. Paul has said regarding racism is that you cannot legislate what is in someone’s heart or mind (if you don’t think so then ask a credible psychologist/psychiatrist). My own personal view is that if you make just as good widgets per hour as everyone else it shouldn’t matter whether you are black, white, pink, grey, gay, trans-sexual, etc. But quotas will not achieve that standard. However, objective, measurable, transparent policies do….the ones that avoid vague standards such as “cultural fit” or “attitude”. If one is fired and one has done nothing objectively wrong then that would and should be grounds for an improper dismissal lawsuit.
    =====================================

    We have also previously printed some of Paul’s racist quotes as attributed to him in his very own newsletter such as:
    - “Boy, it sure burns me to have a national holiday for that pro-communist philanderer Martin Luther King. I voted against this outrage time and time again as a Congressman. What an infamy that Ronald Reagan approved it! We can thank him for our annual Hate Whitey Day.”;

    RESPONSE: Sounds foreign to me. I do know that he had concern with the cost of having another paid federal holiday for federal workers (as though they are already overworked) as did the Gary Johnson, the former governor of New Mexico (who singer Bono called an asshole because of it but Mr. Bono did not offer to pay the millions of dollars extra that it would cost the residents of New Mexico for the extra holiday…but of course, its very easy to be generous with other people’s money)

    - “opinion polls consistently show only about 5% of blacks have sensible political opinions”;

    RESPONSE: Hadn’t seen this one either. Was it taken out of context? Has not the same been said about whites? Five percent sounds about right to me, regardless of race. The majority of people in this country actually think you can legislate your way to prosperity via legal plunder. There have been black Republican leaders and black Libertarian leaders. Bill Cosby, a wonderful inspiration, has been much maligned by blacks for his political views. But its not really about skin tone, is it? Its about concepts. I knew of someone running for office who was actually telling the real financial issues of budget in his speeches; his campaign manager told him “don’t do that. They’ll never elect you. They don’t want to know the truth.”

    - “if you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be.”.

    RESPONSE: Pretty similar to my response above. The swiftness of the feet is not the issue. Nor is the color of the subhuman character the issue. The issue is the subhuman character of the looting individual. Is that not what Dr. King mentioned in his comments about character and not the external covering of the individual.

  6. !. NATO just did a pretty good job in Libya.
    2.Birthright citizenship has a been a foundation of being American since our nation’s inception and it should and will stay that way.
    3. You will note of course, that America achieved its greatest successes after the Woodrow Wilson era. We must have a unified form of supervision of banks and we must also have a national monetary policy to insure price stability and full employment and it is the Federal reserve which does this.
    4. The govt. presently does not tell a person whether or not to have an abortion. It is either the woman who makes that choice or her doctor. The federal govt. does not pay for abortions.
    5. Paul’s exact words about the civil rights act are, “[It] not only violated the Constitution and reduced individual liberty; it also failed to achieve its stated goals…”
    6. The racist comments are all comments which Paul has taken responsibility for.

  7. The ‘quote’ that r58Black presented as words uttered by Pres. Woodrow Wilson has been REPEATEDLY de-bunked, yet they continue to trot it out. It is a lie. No such words were ever uttered by Woodrow Wilson, in any forum, in any format. Unfortunately however, Rongoloids, Paulunteers, and various other forms of human detritus don’t care about facts, all they care about is ruining the internet for everyone else, and also presumably (it seems) they want Wrong Paul to be president. Fortunately, Wrong Paul will never be president, and he will likely die soon of old age, and the world will be a better place. Maybe if Wrong Paul hadn’t written AND/OR published 30 years’ worth of racist, homophobic, and anti-Semitic newsletters, he might have had a chance at becoming president. But it’s too late for him now. He admitted to writing those articles in several interviews during the late ’80s and early ’90s, but then denied ever having even heard about the controversy in 2001, now he claims that he has no idea who could have written them. Huh? So either he lied then, or he’s lying now. Either way, he done screwed up.

    Great job, wRong Paul!

    • Yes, Woodrow Wilson is now rolling in his grave. “Wrong Paul”, I love it!

    • Ron Paul is not just about Ron Paul. The message he delivers will out live him. It is a message that existed before Ron Paul was born. It is a message that will exist after Ron Paul dies.

      RE: “Maybe if Wrong Paul hadn’t written AND/OR published 30 years’ worth of racist, homophobic, and anti-Semitic newsletters, he might have had a chance at becoming president.”

      RESPONSE: Now you lie sir…thing. Any one who says anything about the invasion and looting going on in this country at its borders is labeled a racist. Simple leftist distraction sophistry techniques. By the way, Sheriff Joe of Arizona is of Mexican-American decent. Love him. I have followed Ron Paul for years. I have known people who were patients of this man when he was a doctor. I have family in Israel. Do you think I would support him if he were antisemitic? Homophobic. Same thing. The Uncle of my brother-in-law is homosexual….and he’s a nice guy…and a decent human being. Your words are nothing but slander to attempt false witness to deflect the message that this man delivers. Typical sophist. Regarding his chance for Presidency, I would be pleasantly delighted if he won. But even if he didn’t have a chance in hell I would still vote for either him or Gary Johnson in order to vote my conscious…..so, I can fight with a good clean conscious in the future….if need be.

      Let me clearly state my position to you so that you have no misunderstanding of where I or other like minded “detritus” stand. I am very prejudice. I very much detest the following groups of subhuman characters….looters, moochers, *ssholes (those that speak for other people without that person’s permission), tyrants (those that want control of a process but do not want responsibility for controlling that process), bullies and sophists. Now with your keen sophist eye….please note that list makes no reference whatsoever to race, creed, national origin, gender and/or sexual preference, does it?

      I have heard some communist Jewish writers try to discredit Ron Paul for his views. And to those communist Jewish writers I say…you can go to hell..and the quicker the better……not because those writers are Jewish…but because they advocate communism. But those things (I don’t even view them as human any more) try to hide behind their grand philosophy of looting by professing that if you say something that they don’t like….for instance, you think it is wrong that the state view an individual as property of the state as is the foundation of communism….then they somehow make that magical sophist mirage of equating anti-communism with being
      anti-Semitic….which is absolute bullshit..

      • I said that Ron Paul is a racist because of the racist comments in his very own newsletter and not because of anything having to do with our nation’s borders. BTW, inasmuch as Sheriff Joe Arpaio is the subject of multiple criminal federal investigations, I do not believe that he is a good character witness for Paul. The rest of Paul’s craziness speaks for itself. That is why, I believe, he was incapable of winning even one single Republican primary election.
