Sarah Palin says, “Pardon Me” !

The Twelve Days of Christmas Song Parodies continues…

Give us a break, Sarah, will you please? CNN reports that in a recent radio interview, Sarah Palin said that, “my heart goes out to Huckabee” regarding his commutation of the jail sentence of Maurice Clemmons. Clemmons of course, is the person responsible for recently gunning down four policeman in Washington state. Sarah palin went on to say,

I love him, and I feel bad for him to be in this position. But I feel even worse for the victim’s families in this situation. I do feel bad for Huckabee, but it was a horrible decision he made.

One must wonder about the true nature of Palin’s feelings inasmuch as she chose the word, “horrible” to describe Huckabee’s decision rather than say, “unfortunate” or ” questionable in retrospect.” It does not honestly appear that she “loves” Huckabee or feels “bad for him to be in this situation” because she quickly pointed out that she had never pardoned or granted clemency to prisoners when she was the Governor of Alaska. In fact, she threw salt in Huckabee’s wounds by saying,

I don’t have a whole lot of mercy for the bad guys, I’m on the good guys’ side.

And by that statement just exactly what was Palin implying? Was she saying that Huckabee is on “the bad guys’ side”? Her choice of language certainly does not show a lot of heartache and love for Huckabee, does it? Once again however, a fact check has revealed that she lied regarding her own history of pardons. Certainly everybody remembers that Sarah Palin commuted the sentence of one Alaska’s most notorious criminals when she pardoned herself from the role of governor last July.

In honor of the troops, please remember to click on the song link below to familiarize yourselves with the tune (if you are from Mars) and to have more fun singing along with today’s song parody.

  1. Wider audience, more exposure, more visitors from outer space. I hope you get more readers who comment, because that was hilarious!

  2. RE: Palin’s choice of words

It’s always difficult to decide what is important and what is not, when it comes to Sarah’s choice of words.

It’s not as if she is literate or anything.

  3. Compassionate Conservatives

Huckabee was very supportive of Palin when she abruptly quit the Governorship. Although clearly confused, he remained a fan despite her wilting under pressure, like some delicate hot house flower.

Palin, always the first to turn the other cheek, loves Huckabee right back, despite a horrible decision (the victims’ families!) that she would never, ever, have made.

  4. Genius. Love this Deck the Halls version. Is there a way to share it on my facebook somehow?

Lynnrockets, you never cease to amaze me–you really have a gift.

It’s kinda like being the Weird Al of politics, huh? LOL (And I mean that in a very flattering way–while Al really IS weird, he definitely knows how to work a song–and you do, too!)

Thanks for the laughs–we are definitely in need of them. If she stays out on this traveling freak show much longer I’m gonna find a bridge & jump off it.

    • Thanks for the complements. Please feel free to copy and paste the song on your Facebook. Palin certainly provides a lot of material to use in song parodies. Nobody else comes close. Stop by and comment again.

  5. OMG, hilarious song!!!!
