It’s Palin Time Again
Just some more Anti-Palin television theme song parody fun for this non-newsworthy Saturday afternoon. This is actually one of the first parodies that I wrote. I composed it a long time before starting this blog. In those days I was simply posting the songs on comment sections of newspapers and blogs, the most notable of which was The Mudflats. Please enjoy this little bit of Lynnrockets nostalgia.
Please remember to click on the song link below to familiarize yourselves with the tune and to have more fun singing along with the song parody.

THE MARY TYLER PALIN SHOW
(sung to the theme of “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”)
Who’s the pitbull with lipstick on her smile?
Who can take an election campaign, and suddenly make it all
seem futile?
Well its you Sarah, and you did show it
With each incoherent sentence, you sure did blow it
Stupidity abounds, you can almost taste it
What’s that sucking sound coming from your spaced head?
You’re gonna fake it after all
Stupidity abounds, you can almost taste it
What’s that sucking sound coming from your spaced head?
You’re gonna fake it after all
You want Alaska to secede
You have lots of firearms and girl you know that’s all you need
All the Tea-Baggers adore you
That Thorazine stare will do wonders for you
Stupidity abounds, you can almost taste it
What’s that sucking sound coming from your spaced head?
You’re gonna fake it after all
Stupidity abounds, you can almost taste it
What’s that sucking sound coming from your spaced head?
You’re gonna fake it after all
Stupidity abounds, you can almost taste it all
You went and faked it after all

Wow, you picked Thorazine back then?
Thorazine reminded me … once read ‘Girl Interrupted.’ The movie’s soundtrack had a song with “it’s all over now, baby blue.” Sorry, don’t remember the song’s title right now.
I had to google it, but that drug is used for schizophrenia, which people on the campaign people have described. We might have thought she was nuts, observing from a distance, but they were with her daily. What hit me was this song must have been written last spring or so, and I thought it was interesting foreshadowing by our favorite parody songwriter.
It’s All Over Now, Baby Blue … Written by Bob Dylan. On the movie’s soundtrack: Van Morrison!
That she’s nuts is not just our imagination, nswfm, she is certifiable. All that keeps her sane is the lack of a psychiatrist’s written diagnosis.
The press is really eating up Ayla Brown… sheesh… can’t wait until the Herald writes a story about the floral bloom of her farts.
Feel free to kick out one of the extra apostrophe’s and esses.
@ sauer kraut:
You’re right. The Herald has simply become the print version of Fox News.
Obama’s Year for Grand Redemption

Excerpt /
The upcoming State of the Union address on the 27th January provides him with the ideal forum for a new start, and the opportunity to signal a new leadership style. Now is the time for the President to tell the American people, and the world at large, that his White House induction is over, and that it is time for the Democrats to get on with the people’s business as mandated by the general election results of 2008.
In signaling that the rules of the game have changed, he should make it perfectly clear that henceforth – with or without bi -partisan support – the people’s wishes will be done”.
